On behalf of my family, we want to extend a heart-felt Thank You. My fiance, Robert, was from Minneapolis and he passed July 7, 2009. We are huge Vikings fans because of him. We really, really appreciated the tickets to the Twins game, and as luck would have it, the seats were in the shade! The people that we talked to were mostly from Inver Grove Heights and we did direct them to your site. Most were surprised to hear that you had a visitors bureau. We took your advise to ride the light rail and that was fun. We also took Sunday and went shopping at the Mall of America. This trip is just what we need to go back "home" to our second state. My wife and I would like to thank everyone involved with the Visit Inver Grove Heights promotional get-away sweepstakes. We had a wonderful time in your lovely community. Our room at the Country Inn and Suites was very comfortable and the food at B52's Burgers and Brew was excellent. We loved the friendly atmosphere and the burgers are the best. We ate there both nights of our stay. We were able to spend some time at the Mall of America. While both of us had obviously heard of the Mall, neither of us had ever been there. What an architectural marvel. One certainly needs to devote more time than we had to discover all that it has to offer. My wife is already in contact with her professional shopper friends planing a more "full scale shopping assault" on a return trip to the Mall. I suspect they'll need several days, at least, to see everything. And it's not just for adults. My wife and I were constantly remarking how much fun our granddaughter would have in the amusement park section. There's truly something for everybody at the Mall of America. It's certainly aptly named. And of course the Gopher - Badger game. This was a very special treat for us. Neither one of us had been to a football game in some time. We followed the directions and advice you supplied with the prize information packet and experienced no problems in finding parking and the stadium. We arrived early which allowed us time to stroll the campus and surrounding area. All very impressive; from the facilities on campus to the many friendly establishments near by. With all the gifts and kind hospitality extended to us we felt guilty when the Badgers won; well, almost guilty that is. One of the very nice things about the entire game was the well behaved manner of the spectators. Even though this is the oldest rivalry in college football, both sides showed respect for the other team. With plenty of cheering for our team coming from both sides, everyone behaved in a most civil manner making for an extremely pleasant and fun afternoon. During our time there, we found Inver Grove Heights to be a most convenient place to stay. We were able to get every part of the Minneapolis - St. Paul area quickly and easily. You are fortunate to have such a central geographic location. In conclusion, we again thank all concerned and feel very fortunate to have won this prize. We greatly appreciate it.

Just wanted to again thank you and the Inver Grove Heights Convention & Vistors Bureau for the tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil OVO on Saturday. It was my first time to see a Cirque Du Soleil and it was a wonderful performance. We had a great time at the show and made a day of it, with shopping and eating. Thanks again.

I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for everything. We had a great time in Inver Grove Heights! The hotel was wonderful, the Mall of America was a blast and Baja Sol was awesome!!! All the service we experienced in Minnesota was top notch which made everything that much better!
