Inver Grove Heights Parks and Trails

Inver Grove Heights is home to 28 parks, with miles of paved and unpaved trails and scenic views.  In the winter, enjoy amenities like sledding hills, outdoor ice rinks, and warming houses.  In the warmer months, take advantage of fishing piers, picnic areas, and basketball, volleyball, tennis, and pickleball courts.

Mississippi River Greenway

Enjoy the Mighty Mississippi by walking, cycling, or in-line skating along the Mississippi River Greenway, which connects parks and trails in Inver Grove Heights and other communities.  The paved trail features trailheads with restrooms, and the trailhead at Swing Bridge Park in Inver Grove Heights also has a bike fix-it station and a walking pier that extends over the river.

Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing

The Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing is a local organization that restores military aircraft and preserves them in flying condition.  Their museum is home to six aircraft, historic motor vehicles, and WWII artifacts.  Admission is free, and the museum is open to the public Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
